Elevating Work Platform Mechanic Apprenticeship

We're a well established supplier of access machinery, which includes boom lifts, manlifts and scissor lifts.

We're seeking a motivated person to join our team and gain hands-on experience and training, with heavy plant equipment maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel, electric and hybrid powered access machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance (engine servicing, high wear component inspections, etc)
  • Support on-site repairs and maintenance at client locations under supervision
  • Maintain service records and ensure machine safety compliance to a high standard
  • Operate safely in a high risk environment
  • Keep tools/work areas clean and organised

Requirements:

  • Completed VCE or Year 12 Equivalent (preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
  • Good communication skills, punctual and reliable
  • Fit, healthy and motivated
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Valid manual driver’s licence (preferred)
